Also, this week we have our General Council meeting at 7:00 PM in 270 West Village F on Wednesday, and today at 6:00 PM in 336 Curry Student Center are the Outreach & Advocacy Subcommittee meetings. All residents are welcome to attend!

Want to enjoy some of the world’s best bar-b-que this weekend? On Sunday at 1:00 PM the Resident Student Association is sponsoring a trip to Suffolk Downs to the Phantom Gourmet BBQ Beach Bash. Featuring the world’s top BBQ teams, mechanical bull riding, a sand beach, and beer for those of legal age, it’s free to students. The Resident Student Association has a couple meetings this week that are open to all students. First, on Tuesday the Joint Advocacy & Outreach Subcommittee meets at 6:00 PM in 336 Curry Student Center (agenda [pdf]). Then, on Wednesday, General Council meets in 270 West Campus, Building F at 7:00 PM.

Duck My Life, the Resident Student Association’s first annual campus-wide rubber duck hunt, is taking place tomorrow. Starting at 9:00 AM, you can bring up to five rubber duckies (hidden all over campus, both outdoors and in residence halls) to the RSA Office at 128 Stetson Hall West. Each duck comes with a prize, and the prizes include everything from candy, to gift cards, to whiffle ball, to iPod Shuffles, to a PlayStation 3. For more, see the Facebook group.
