The Resident Student Association is an advocacy and programming organization that serves as the official liaison between the students living in Northeastern University residence halls and the staff and administration of University offices. The Association brings residents programming ranging from residence hall movie nights and trips to museums to signature programs such as the Husky Hunt and the Snowball. The Association strives to make the residence halls at Northeastern University a continually more serviceable and livable community, serving as an advocate for both the residential community as a whole and individual residents. Additionally, the Resident Student Association administers and distributes the Resident Activities Fee and is the means by which the residential population affiliates itself with the National Association of College and University Residence Halls. The Resident Student Association consists of a six person executive board, a General Council with representatives from each residence hall and special interest groups, the Janet P. Mackie chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary, and a Hall Council for each residence hall complex.
